ABOUT THE PROJECT
The office of Alumni Relations hosts many events on campus throughout each academic year including Ring Ceremony, Alumni Tailgate, and TLU Homecoming. Alumni Relations would like to increase campus awareness of events by decorating the campus during large events and utilizing directional signage as a way to engage and direct guests. Alumni Relations would like to create a photo opportunity at every event for students, faculty, staff, parents, families, and alumni to encourage them to share their photos on social media and with friends and family! Crowdfunding for signage and decorations will allow our department to focus our resources on programming events and purchasing giveaway items for guests.
HOW WILL THE PROJECT IMPACT STUDENTS
Events that Alumni Relations hosts such as Ring Ceremony, Homecoming, and the Alumni Mentorship Program effect students directly. Ring Ceremony celebrates student success and inducts them into the TLU Alumni Association. TLU Homecoming celebrates TLU, encourages students to interact with their fellow bulldogs, celebrate their athletic teams, provides students with the chance to engage with Alumni, show off their academic success, and enjoy all of the festivities such as Pep Rally, Block Party, and Tailgate!
